The expression "purchaser" is given the same meaning as in Part I of the Law of Property Act 1925. Its definition for that purpose is to be found in Section 205(1)(xxi) of that Act. The expression is used in Sections 9, 10 and 16 and paragraph 4 of Schedule 1.

Subject to that expressions are to bear the same meanings as they bear in the Law of Property Act 1925 -- sub-section (2).

The expression "court" means either the High Court or the county court -- sub-section (3). It is used in Sections 6, 13, 14, 15 and 16.
